Shocking details have emerged following a postmortem that was done today by government pathologist Dr. David Oduor following the death of Karatina University student.
According to the postmortem results which were seen by our reporting team, it has been found out that the student was mutilated by her boyfriend before choking and suffocating her to death.
The reports indicate that the culprit used a blunt object and ripped off “sehamu nyeti” in an attempt to carry out female circumcision.
Details have emerged that the boyfriend, who is a Kuria demanded that his girlfriend must be circumcised before they could proceed with their relationship.
The 32-year-old boyfriend, who is a shopkeeper in Nakuru Town has since escaped into thin air, and is nowhere to be found.The police officers have launched a manhunt for the man and are appealing to the general public to share and report any information regarding the culprit.
